How does it work?

WebTrit with external PBX
  • Your administrator signs up for a free WebTrit account and creates records about individual users (PBX extensions) using the self-care portal provided by WebTrit. The crucial information provided here is the IP address (hostname) of your PBX and SIP credentials for individual users.
  • An invitation email with an auto configuration link is sent to each user.
  • When a user installs the WebTrit application (available free of charge in Google and Apple app stores) they simply need to click on the auto configuration link and their app is automatically authorized and connected to their WebTrit account. No more hassle with typing in login credentials or forgetting passwords.
  • When a user makes an outgoing call, WebTrit delivers that call to the PBX system in the same way as when a call arrives from a regular VoIP deskphone.
  • When there is an inbound call to an extension, the WebTrit backend sends a push notification to the user’s smartphone. The WebTrit application “wakes up” and the user can answer the incoming call.
